Thematic Areas

Our work revolves around key thematic areas that are closely interconnected, ensuring a holistic approach to meeting the needs of the people we serve.

In Uganda, communities face a range of challenges from the impacts of climate change and food insecurity to limited access to clean water, health services, and economic opportunities. We believe that the most effective way to respond is by working alongside local people, communities, and organizations to address their needs, protect their rights, and support them in achieving their goals.

Our approach is people-centred, community-based, and rooted in human rights. We adapt our work to the realities on the ground while staying committed to long-term resilience and local leadership.

We bring expertise in the following areas:

  • Climate Action
  • Livelihood, Food Security and Nutrition
  • Water and Sanitation (WASH)
  • Emergency Response
  • Rights-Based Local to Global Approach
  • Protection
